The most popular options are Achill to Westport and Achill to Newport, with our shuttle service. You can choose to start cycling from different points on Achill Island such as Keel, Dooega, Cashel, if you want to explore Achill Island cycle along by sea cliffs and Grainne Uailes Castle before you start cycling the greenway back to Westport, You can choose to park in Newport if you only want to cycle the Achill to Newport section. Other scenic route options are Westport to Croagh Patrick cycle path (20km round trip) or Westport to Newport and back (22km round trip) or you can choose your own custom route, we are happy to offer suggestions for you and point out local scenic spots and places of interest, just get in contact by phone, text or email to discuss your requirements. We also offer multiday hire at a reduced rate for 3 days or more for people who want to cycle tour by Ebike in the Connemara region or stay overnight on Achill Island. Pannier bags Helmets are included in the price.
You can choose to cycle the entire 42km Greenway route or part of it.
Westport Meeting Point
The Westport town centre meeting point is at the Smarter Travel Bike Stand, beside the Westport Leisure Park on James Street.
